REDUCED FROM 9.00 "The Matriarch, The Boss", Antique Carved Shell Cameo Pendant Brooch, in Vintage Brass Art Deco 2 1/2 inch x 2 inch Frame Embellished with Antique Faux Pearl & Brass Clip-On Earring, Gold, Bronze, Flower Seed Beads, and for accent light yellow and amber Beads just inside frame. Pendant or brooch, wear either way. AND this cameo makes a great mini-wallhanging when not being worn.
This fine Antique Carved Shell Cameo is so appropriately titled by me, "The Matriarch, The Boss". Maybe you know her.
I received this cameo loose. I have made her setting is with the revere and adoration she so richly deserves. The highly etched brass leaves and faux pearls on the bottom are a single 1 1'4" x 3/4" Antique clip on earring (now glued) marked patent pending. Bronze tiny seed beads of copper color, burgundy, silver and bronze are peyote stitched in bezel in ever tightening rings to secure cameo while keeping the back see through and exposed to light. I embellished the Vintage filigreed Art Deco frame tiny gold seed beads. Then one more row of light yellow and amber Lucite matte beads just inside frame. On the bottom are two tiny glass yellow flowers with gold bead center.
The original cameo itself measures 1 " x 3/4". The whole pendant now measure2 1/2 inches by 2 inches.
On top back I sewed a new gold plated bale in case you prefer to wear it as a necklace.
