  • Condition: This pin/pendant is in excellent antique condition--no chips or cracks. However, the stick and clasp were replaced a long time ago because they do not match the pin (they are silver and the clasp is a safety clasp). A more recent repair person would match the gold and use a similar old clasp. But that is not what they did in the old days, and luckily it's in the back of the pin.

    Description

    This antique, hand-carved cameo pin/pendant depicts a portrait of a woman with flowers in her hair and on her shoulder. The pin is 1 1/4 inches high and 1 inch wide. It has a hinged bail, so it can be worn as a pendant, and the bail is hidden behind the brooch when worn as a pin. The cameo is set in a lovely, gold-filled frame that features an inner, twisted chain and a flower on the top, bottom and both sides of the frame. This pin/pendant is in excellent antique condition--no chips or cracks.  However, the stick and clasp were replaced a long time ago because they do not match the pin (they are silver and the clasp is a safety clasp).
