for sale a salesman sample of products Jensen mfg. co. of Jeannette, pa. sold. the company started in the early 1900's and is still in operation. the man that started it died at a very old age around 1980 or so and his son took it over. his most famous products were steam engines and generators. in fact his steam engine model 50 was used as the first steam engine and generator to be electrically supplied by nuclear energy in oak ridge tenn. I believe it is still in their museum as you enter the building. this sample is in perfect condition and shape except it has one spring cable missing that operates the mechanical hammer. I have a box of springs somewhere and if I have one that will work I will put it on, otherwise, you can pick up a spring at a hardware or auto parts store that will work for it. I would say, that originally the salesman brought along a sample steam engine/ generator and attached a spring cable to the large pulley on the outside, of course that would turn and operate all the sample pieces at one time. the samples are mounted on a display board that is 11.5 inches by 13.5 inches. it can be sent via usps. I paid 500.00 for it 15 years ago and that is where I am going to start it. with ebay and paypal fees I will loose starting at what I paid. good luck
