    Description

    Box of 36) Carded Natural Mother of Pearl Self-Shank 9/16" Round Buttons NOS MOP
    New, old stock, lot of 36, natural colored, ocean, mother of pearl, self-shank buttons sewn on 12 cards as shown.  Round, ligne/line/size 22 which is 9/16" (14mm).  The shank and the face are made from a single piece of MOP.  It doesn't show well in the photos but these are particularly luminescent and lustrous.  But do check the photos- all of them.  These buttons came from a button factory that was abandoned in the early '70s.  They have been crated for many years and as such may smell that way too.  Nothing serious, just a bit musty.  It's part of the deal.
