Emile Drouhin Galet custom hand made knife, three blade SS folder. Beautiful!

Offered is a original Emile Drouhin custom hand made three blade all stainless steel pocket knife. These are nearly impossible to find now, as from what I can find on YouTube, it appears Mr Drouhin, a fourth generation knife maker, may have passed away in 2019. I can only find one reference to that on the internet, so I cannot completely verify that is the case. It is a fact though that he is, or was, the last of his kind, as their are no heirs to take over his skilled trade. Using only the crudest of tools, he made knives that are legendary to collectors all over the world. This is what he called his "Galet" folder. He made these with between two and six blades, again, this one having three. The chain is sterling silver. His knives were sold by the prestigious Hermes Department store chain, and they are in nearly every notable collection that exists. This knife is in the exact condition it was when received from Mr. Drouhin, it has never been carried or used in any way. Grab it while you can, you will not likely get many chances to obtain one of these for your collection.
I have a few others in SS and a couple of different scale materials and with different amounts of blades I will list, so if this one is not of interest, perhaps future listings will be.
