    Description

    This is a very nicely carved shell cameo pin that measures 1 1/8 by 3/4 of an inch.  The gold filled setting appears to be handcrafted.  The carving of the cameo is detailed and very well done.  It is in good condition,  It is hard to date this pin.  I am sure the cameo is antique but to date it exactly, I am not sure because it is so unusual
    .  This would be very pretty worn on a black ribbon as a choker.
