Antique Vintage Authentic 1950s Mr. Peanut Planters Peanut Ceramic Salad Set / Wood Spoon and Fork
Unusual item from pre-Standard Brands Planters Peanuts, ca. 1955.  Made in Japan. 10” tall.
Both pieces have minor issues:
• both are missing their “diamond” eyes
• both have a little bit of glue residue on the hats
• the hat of the spoon’s Mr. P has a tiny nick on the top edge (photo #4)
• the ceramic back of Mr. P on the spoon has a small loss to the base (photo #5)
• the label on the back of the spoon has some loss
(photo #5)
• the hat of the fork’s Mr. P has a tiny nick on the top edge (photo #7) and two tiny nicks on the hat rim (photo #6).
