Vintage Green Mr. Peanut Bank Custom Painted w/ Black Top Hat, Arms, Legs, Cane

Description

This is a vintage, classic plastic Mr. Peanut bank in the green color that was modified to give him a more debonair appearance! Instead of being solid green, he now has a black top hat, black "sleeves", black "pants", white gloves, black cane, and white and black "spats" or shoes. He also has white eyes with black pupils, and a black monocle. It dresses him up and transforms him into appearing as if he were in formal evening attire - but jaunty, as if he could break into a dance a la Fred Astaire!
He is a one-of-a-kind piece. The paint was extremely neatly applied and has a glossy finish. It almost looks as if it were original but for an uneven edge inside the top hat. The artist who created him gave the title,"Green with Envy", which is written in black marker on the bottom of his base. No signature.
The bank is 8.5 inches high and the base has a 3.25 inch diameter. The top hat has a slit to insert coins into the body cavity and twists off to retrieve the coins.
Mr. Peanut is stepping out! He never looked better!
