HERE WE HAVE:
A vintage driver's helmet from the 26th Annual All-American Soap Box Derby! Seems to be that the race took place in 1963! We are located in Akron, which is also where we acquired the helmet! Located about 10 minutes away from the Derby Downs where the races are held!
The helmet is made of a lightweight particle board-like material and has the fabric straps inside as well as the brown head strap.
Nice display piece!
CONDITION:
Acceptable condition for being nearly 60 years old! There are a couple of cracks to the bottom edge of the helmet. Color loss and nicks to the helmet. Straps are a bit discolored from age. Some decal loss to the front sticker. The brown head strap inside feels stiff/fragile is spots and like it could break if you bend it too far.

Helmet is child sized. Measures approximately 7 7/8" wide, 9 3/4" front-to-back, and 5" tall all at furthest points.
